BURN2 - Second Life's "Burning Man" - Oct. 1 - 9

Just a short public service announcement to let you all know that BURN2 "Rites of Passage" is on for October 1 - 9 in Second Life.

For those who don't know, BURN2 is Second Life's version of the annual semi-crazed desert event known in real life as Burning Man. Now yours truly has never been to the real Burning Man but a few of my friends have done the adventure and I've seen their photos. Crazy? Yes. Fun? Looks like it. Creative? Oh you betcha.

However, I have been to the old Linden Lab sponsored "Burning Life" and it was definitely crazy, fun, creative and in the best of Lab traditions for official events, a bit laggy. Sadly, Burning Life is no longer around, but it lives on as BURN2 with all the work now being done totally by volunteers on donated sims. I missed last year's inauguration of BURN2 but hopefully I'll make it to this year's. So here are the details:
